About Our Mission
Mission: Remember is a project created by Montgomery County Veterans Commission in Conroe, Texas. The mission is to interview our American Soldiers of wars past and preserve their stories for generations to come. These video interviews will become part of the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park.
When completed, our park will be an immersive experience that helps illustrate the events, sacrifices, and stories that have lead to the freedom and lifestyle so many take for granted. Through education, we can build a brighter future without the struggles of the past. All while remembering the brave American soldiers that gave so much.
Veteran Interviews
If you or someone you know is a veteran of war, reach out to us to schedule an interview. We want to ensure the stories of our nations heroes are told. Veterans of WWII and Korea are top priority. We are happy to schedule a time and location that is most convenient and there is no cost. Just a desire to hear their story.
Memorial Park
The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park is located at 1 Freedom Blvd, Conroe, TX 77301. Spanning 7 acres, the park will be one of the largest and most educational Veterans Memorials in the country. Plans are in progress to create a memorial to all veterans, a war memorial, and educational center.
“The Line”
The Line is a Veterans Memorial installment currently being constructed and will be part of the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park. The Line will be names of veterans from all over the country spanning all generations of our fighting men and women. Nominate a veteran for The Line today!
